Naples is now a winter retreat!

Back in the early 30's, winter visitors were coming to Naples to enjoy the sun and beaches, golfing, and a small golf course located at the end of Fifth Avenue near the beach. It was in 1932 that Charles "Lucky" Lindbergh landed his plane in that area. Lindbergh and his wife, Ann, had a retreat in Sanibel and would drop in to pick up supplies.


Ritzy Naples is located in Florida’s near-tropical southwest corner. With white beaches, ample water access, and upscale restaurants and shops, this is an ideal place for those seeking a splash of summer in January or for business people in search of a hospitable setting for corporate meetings. The city’s swank shopping districts, Third Street and Fifth Avenue, boast some of the top boutiques and specialty shops on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Naples is also host to many fine activities both indoors and out. Naples boasts over 90 art galleries, offering the works of local and international artists. In addition to the galleries, a must-see is the $17.1 million world-class Philharmonic Center for the Arts and the recently opened Naples Museum of Art. Naples Florida is also host to a number of golf courses that are host to a number of golfing events throughout the year. For art of a different kind, a trip to Naples Florida wouldn't be complete without a stroll down the beautiful Naples Pier.
