TaylorMade-adidas Golf is driving to be the best after
acting as a catalyst in the golf equipment industry. The
#2 golf club maker, after Callaway Golf, produces metal
drivers and irons (300 Series, R500 Series), putters (Rossa),
and balls (Distance Plus, Maxfli, TP Tour), which are sold
worldwide. Other products include bags, apparel, and accessories,
as well as products for women and kids.
TaylorMade-adidas Golf sponsors players on the PGA (Mike
Weir, Retief Goosen), Senior PGA (Gary McCord), European PGA,
and LPGA (Se Ri Pak) tours. Gary Adams founded TaylorMade
in 1979 after discovering that balls struck by metal drivers
travel farther than those struck by traditional woods. TaylorMade
became part of adidas in the late 1990s.
The TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company has grown significantly
in the past four years into a significant stable of brands
with revenues approaching a billion dollars this year. The
growth is a result of industry-leading performance products
in all key categories.
TaylorMade-adidas Golf's goal is to continue growing to
become the most commercially successful company in the golf
industry. To do this they need to continue to make the
best products in the industry and improve how we execute certain
dimensions of our business.
TaylorMade's r7 quad driver, cemented their position
as the No. 1 metalwood in the world and the No. 1 metalwood

TaylorMade Golf Equipment And Merchandise
-
R7 Quad Driver - features TaylorMade Launch Control
(TLC) - a sophisticated system that permits discretionary
clubhead weight to be redistributed in six configurations
by means of TLC cartridges and TLC ports. The cartridges
are either 2 grams or 10 grams. By repositioning them,
you can change the trajectory between high, low, more
draw, draw, fade or more fade. Comes with Trajectory wheel,
TLC wrench, 4 TLC cartridges and headcover.
-
R7 XD Irons - possess Inverted Cone Technology,
with 100% milled thin titanium clubface, Tuned Performance
Cartridge with a Deep-back CG.
-
320 Irons - come with a moderate topline and
slight offset - carrying a traditional, yet confident
look at address. Each club is optimized for its intended
shot: the long irons have a lower center of gravity and
negative bounce to help create lift, while the short irons
have a higher center of gravity and positive bounce to
reduce drag and prevent shots from floating or ballooning.
-
360 Irons - are designed and built for added confidence
and distance. Like the 320 irons, the 360 set comes with
slightly oversized heads, perimeter weighting, the TaylorMade
Feel Cartridge, the fortified cavity pad and optimized
weighting and bounce for each club. The difference is
a thicker topline for added confidence at address and
more progressive offset to promote a higher, right to
left ball flight.
Rescue Hybrids - Feature a mid-size, low profile
clubhead, with a high moment of inertia for forgiveness
and low, deep center of gravity to get the ball airborne.
Engineered to deliver high, soft approach shots from the
broad, functional sole will glide through any lie, promoting
solid contact from fairway or rough.
- Monza Corza Double Bend Putter - features an Anti-skid
Groove System Insert (ASGI), which drastically reduces skid
and bounce, dampens impact vibration, and promotes precise
line and optimum speed control - the result is better performance
on the greens. In fact, 88% of golfers who tested the Rossa
putters had a measurable decrease in backspin and a marked
increase in forward spin.
