In Las Vegas the kickoff to the 2007 golf equipment season
is here. Its time when we start to figure out what
well be using in the upcoming year. Some of the major
companies have already released some of thier latest merchandise.
Other companies are just giving us hints as to whats
up next and a few are keeping this new equipment under the
radar.
It is very hard to keep some of the 2007 golf equipment off
the shelves until 2007, and that is why we will try to keep
posts on what is being released early for the holidays. Use
the latest equipment on a Florida golf course, before your
partners even read or research this new golf equipment. This
is what we know so far.

News at the Callaway camp is about a square
driver. The idea of a square driver sounded like the
beginning of an off the wall info-mercial, but could
be hitting for distance next year. The name FT-5
has been used more than once, but that could be just
a code name. Pictures of an X
hybrid are being released, and could quite possibly
replace the hybrid Heavenwood. If an X-20
iron hits the streets, you heard about it here first.
There are rumors of the X Tour iron going through some
design changes.

TaylorMade has
already released the R7
Draw driver and most likely will continue the R7 Draw
line in 2007. The R7 Draw has only one weighted screw
for bending it like Mickelson on the last hole of the
US Open. "Say Goodbye To The Right Side Of The
Golf Course" . Be on the lookout for the R7 Draw
irons, fairway woods and hybrids before the end of 2006.
Some new irons are in the works for 2007, TaylorMade is
looking at the assigned names of
R7 TP and R7 Forged.

Schwetty Balls
have a funny name, but the owners take the matter of making
golf balls very seriously. From proven dimple patterns,
thier templates are computer designed in 3-D modeling.
The dimple patterns on Schwetty Balls
are designed with varying sized radius dimples. The smaller
radius dimples provide maximum distance, while the slightly
larger radius dimples offer shot-saving accuracy. At the
PGA Fall Expo, Schwetty Balls won 1 0f 3 "Best
New Product" awards, which was announced at the
industry-packed reception held at Mandalay Bay's House
of Blues. |

The Golf
Kart Kaddy acts like a stand bag on the back of a
golf cart. Being angled allows the golf clubs to be removed
and replaced with ease. When the golf
clubs are on a angle that allow the golf clubs to
remain organized. With the bag leaning out from the cart
you do not have to remove the golf bag to get to your
bag pockets. It will allow you access to all your pockets.
(A BIG PLUS FOR STAFF BAGS AND
CART BAGS) Better access to golf balls, golf gloves,
golf tees. No more having to stretch overhead to remove/replace
golf clubs. At the PGA Fall Expo, Golf Kart Kaddy won
1 0f 3 "Best New Product" awards, which
was announced at the industry-packed reception held at
Mandalay Bay's House of Blues. |
