What is a time share? A time share is a vacation property
that you own for a specific time each year.
Renting timeshare can save up to 40% off a week stay at
an average hotel. Most timeshare rentals will list for
anywhere between $400.00 and $800.00 a week depending on area,
time of year, and amenities offered. An average one room hotel
without a kitchen starts at $700.00 a week.
Investigate. Try to do some research on the resort
where you are thinking of renting. Search one of the major
Search Engines, and there will be plenty to read.
Know the rules and regulations. Ask for a copy of
all rules that will effect what you do at the timeshare rental.
You do not want any surprises to throw off your Florida Golf
Vacation.
Lockout Time Shares. A lockout in time share terminology
is a unit divided into two separate living spaces with separate
entrances. One week in a lockout unit can usually be exchanged
for two weeks in a regular unit, or two families can split
the week.
Can you cook in the time share? Plan on saving a ton
of money if your meals are prepared in house. This money can
be invested into the rest of your vacation, or on a pricier
time share.
