E21 Golf Equipment
And E21 Golf Merchandise Information
Prior to the end of the 2005 PGA Tour season, testing on the
E21's Scandium Eagle began. Element 21 is utilizing its experience
working with advanced Scandium metal alloys to introduce this unique
space-age material to the golf industry. Scandium alloys were originally
developed for application in aerospace application including MiG
series fighter jets, leading-edge missile applications, and the
International Space Station.
The International Space Program has introduced the next
generation material for golf. Element 21 developed a proprietary
material called E21 Metal, with the highest strength-to-weight ratio
of any material currently used in golf - 25% advantages over titanium,
50% over graphite and 70% over steel. Robotic and player testing
have replaced older technologies, translating into improvement in
overall performance, while conforming to the USGA rules of golf.
Element 21 Golf Company (E21) has released a report that the Company
has received confirmation from the United States Golf Association
(USGA) that its Scandium driver is compliant with the USGA's Rules
Of Golf. Scandium is an extremely difficult material to work with
and the product engineers and designers are the best of the best.
The Scandium driver technology represents a significant departure
from the prevailing titanium driver construction technology,
and offers balanced moments of inertia and an unprecedented sweet
spot. This results in very tight dispersion even for an off center
shot and a notable increase in distance.
Scandium metal alloy clubs represent the first new innovation in
golf clubs in decades. Scandium provides significant increase in
distance, accuracy and consistency. Here are some of the Scandium
products available.
